Stress comes in all forms: job, family, income, illness… the list goes on and on. The main issue here isn’t the stress though. It’s all in the way you perceive it.
It will be ok
No matter what the issue, just remember you will be fine. No matter what life throws at you, you are strong enough to battle the issue and recover.
Many of us eat when stressed. Others don’t eat right. The most important issue is keeping yourself healthy during times of high stress. The best way to do this is to not have unhealthy food around in the first place. Do not eat because of the stress. Eat sensibly, take deep breaths, go for a walk, exercise, look at personal photos. Doing something you enjoy will help take the pressure away.
Another stress reliever is to write about the stress. What is making you stressed? What can you do to fix the issue? Is there anyone that might be able to help you out? Writing about these questions and others that come to mind can help you work the details out and get a plan in line.
The stress will end
Once you have equipped yourself with a plan, you can put it in place to end the stress. If it is a long-term stressful situation, then do something for yourself as much as possible, to help with stress relief. Someday the stress will be gone, and you will be able to relax once again and enjoy life.
